Due to 2 kidlets 2y and under we made the decision to upgrade to a super king bed mattress and needed a supportive frame (IYKYK). After shopping around and extensively researching, I came across hotshoppa and this bed frame. The blue velvet instantly got me. I showed photos of multiple bed frames to my partner and he chose this out of all too! The big selling point for me was the 600kg weight capacity and steel frame construction as opposed to wood (not that it would have that much weight but great to know).
There was one point during installation that I wasn't a fan of, being 4 supports that werent pre-drilled that meet at each corner underneath the frame. Not exactly easy putting together a super king frame then flipping it up completely as per instructions to install the supports that aren't pre-drilled and essentially going in blind. Easily could be rectified by the manufacturer moving forward.
Shipping was super fast, although, disappointing the delivery person wasnt allowed to bring the 3 heavy boxes inside apparently due to company policy.
Overall, super happy with this bed. The photo doesn't do it justice. Its beautiful quality, the blue velvet is beautiful and soft and the frame is super sturdy.

Wanted to give a genuine review after we'd slept in the bed for a few weeks. The bed frame is gorgeous, soft and velvety. Easy to assemble and solid feel. I had a few questions during the delivery process and the support team were very responsive and helpful. Can't believe we waited all this time to upgrade to a king. Love it!!

As advertised, the frame is nice, velvety, and sturdy. The hybrid design provides the perfect amount of support and cushioning for a good night's sleep. I purchased this king bed frame (mattress is my own) as I was looking for a standout piece of furniture for a reasonable price and I was not disappointed. It feels very sturdy once put together (though I recommend pre-drilling holes for the feet), I LOVE the velvet and colour and would definitely recommend.
Gorgeous looking bed, a little lighter in colour than expected from the pictures, but still a deep blue that looks amazing. Definitely a 2 person job to assemble - velvet very slippery! Frame very sturdy and mattress comfortable.
